To all our valued and loved customers we have some information to share with you.
The health and wellbeing of all our customers is our absolute priority for everyone at Jesmond Pool And Gym
Following the latest update regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our building from 6pm this evening (Wednesday, 18 March).
Health & Wellbeing is at the very heart of our organisation and we are committed to ensuring that we reduce the risk of Coronavirus for all our customers to an absolute minimum.
Some important information for customers
All memberships and swimming lesson Direct Debits will be frozen, so members will be able to resume as normal when we re-open.
All remaining children’s swimming lessons paid by cash will be credited into the next term.
All pre payments for classes and anything else will be honoured when we re open. Which we will do!!!
Keeping fit & active remains important for general health & wellbeing and is the best way to build resilience to viruses.
We are working to provide our customers with ideas and solutions to maintain activity levels in the home.
We will continue to monitor the on-going Coronavirus outbreak and will update our website and social media pages with all relevant information regarding re-opening.
We are determined to make sure that Jesmond Pool And Gym is sustainable for the future and keep it at the heart of Jesmond life. We’ve survived two world wars and the threat of closure in 1991, but we’re still here as a hub at the centre of our community. But as an independent community-led business we face a massive challenge and are going to need your help and support in the months ahead.
We appreciate money will be tight for many people in these uncertain times, but if you are in a position to help us, please do.
We will be starting various fundraising activities soon.
Thank you again for your understanding and ongoing support during these challenging and unprecedented times.
